*moar guns to come*
Made from a lighter grade of E-Carbon and nanofibers, the armor has been proven reliable, durable, and lightweight throughout its time in service. It may not be the best defense, but it's as good as the Minevans can get with no expense to their natural abilities or movement constrictions as a standard-issue combat uniform.
Basic: Issued to enlisted personnel. Sufficient cranium protection, along with standard issue visor for heads-up-display and IFF trackers. Each helm has a built in video record and communications system.
Officer: Issued to all Officers working on the field. Mandibles added to run across the jawline for identification.
Rebreather: All helmets come with a detachable rebreather to be used at the soldier's discretion. Can filter any hostile air environment and even keeps a backup store of oxygen for emergency use in vacuum.
Tengu: The most unique helmet of the Minevans; the helmet is the trademark of Tengu Legionnaires. The Tengu Legionnaires are a corps of fast-attack commandos that descend onto a battlefield via drop pods from orbit.
Monofilament Blades: All blades issued to Minevan forces have their edges sharpened down to a single molecule; after their first sharpen, they never need maintenance again. The sheer cutting power of these weapons are immense, able to punch through tank armor with enough driving force behind it.
Short, dagger-like Tantos are issued to Enlisted personnel. Both Tantos and Katanas are issued to Officers. Both are ritualistically used in their salutes, along with their use in combat.
